Album Notes & Community Reviews

Recorded entirely inside a refurbished 1947 Voice-o-Graph vinyl recording booth located at Jack White's Third Man Records in Nashville. The legendary songwriter delivers a deeply nostalgic, crackling collection of covers honoring his favorite folk and rock contemporaries, including Bob Dylan and Gordon Lightfoot. The incredibly lo-fi, direct-to-acetate recording method forces a stark, unpolished intimacy.
