Album Notes & Community Reviews
Cobbled together from various recording sessions spanning several years, Neil Young's 'American Stars 'n Bars' successfully bridges ragged country rock with tender acoustic introspection. The album is anchored by the breathtakingly passionate guitar epic 'Like a Hurricane', balancing its deeply bittersweet, melancholic romanticism with wonderfully mellow, alcohol-fueled pastoral folk.
