The twenty-ninth studio album by the legendary songwriter is a heavily conceptual, politically charged rock record directly inspired by his LincVolt project鈥攁 customized 1959 Lincoln Continental converted to run on alternative energy. The tracks aggressively address the 2008 financial crisis, environmental degradation, and the auto industry bailout. While criticized for its rushed, spontaneous recording style, it remains a fascinating, eccentric snapshot of his late-career activism.
