Album Notes & Community Reviews

Divided into two distinct halves, Neil Young's 'Hawks & Doves' juxtaposes gentle, pastoral acoustic ballads with stomping, politically charged country rock. The album is a playful, surprisingly optimistic, and fiercely patriotic exploration of working-class American history, reflecting a more conservative thematic turn for the legendary songwriter.
