Album Notes & Community Reviews

Neil Young continued his highly controversial, experimental streak by completely immersing his songwriting in dense, synthetic 80s production. 'Landing on Water' utilizes heavy drum programming, synclaviers, and a distinctly cold, AOR-oriented soundscape to deliver surprisingly quirky and surreal pop-rock tracks. It remains a deeply polarizing, nocturnal, and highly uncharacteristic entry in his extensive catalog.
