Album Notes & Community Reviews

Documenting the very first performances of his harrowing 'Tonight's the Night' material at the Roxy Theatre in 1973, this archival set presents a ragged, grief-stricken Neil Young backed by The Santa Monica Flyers. The tequila-soaked, deeply sorrowful renditions perfectly capture the bruised emotional state following the drug-related deaths of two close friends.
