Album Notes & Community Reviews

Written during a grueling period of grief and clinical depression, Neko Case's sixth solo album features her most starkly personal and confrontational songwriting. Assisted by prominent indie rock guests like M. Ward and Kelly Hogan, the record balances dense, poetic Americana with dark, driving arrangements.
