Album Notes & Community Reviews

The debut solo album from the incredibly versatile avant-garde guitarist showcases his deep grounding in modern jazz improvisation. Flanked by a sensitive rhythm section, the compositions highlight his fluid, angular phrasing within a relatively mellow post-bop framework. The highly melodic recording established Cline's distinct voice long before his tenure in the alternative rock sphere.
