Album Notes & Community Reviews
The Seattle-based outfit drastically evolved from their power metal origins, adopting incredibly complex, technical thrash riffing and a decidedly darker atmosphere. Warrel Dane's distinctively dramatic vocal delivery navigates heavily pessimistic, intensely political lyricism targeting censorship and societal control. The challenging, aggressive musicianship established them as a remarkably unique, thinking-man's force within the 1990s American metal underground.
