Album Notes & Community Reviews

Stepping entirely outside traditional East Coast rap frameworks, New Kingdom forged a deeply bizarre, blues-soaked aesthetic with their sophomore effort. The production is characterized by dusty, psychedelic guitar samples and an atmosphere redolent of a sun-baked desert, defining a highly specific strain of 90s experimental hip-hop.
