Album Notes & Community Reviews
On their second full-length album 'Altar', Irish trio NewDad refines its signature dream-pop and shoegaze sound with a more polished, dynamic, and guitar-driven production that ranges from raw post-punk intensity to brighter pop-leaning arrangements. The album鈥檚 sonically expansive yet tighter feel underscores its core lyrical themes of ambition, sacrifice, and the profound sense of homesickness and identity crisis that followed the band's relocation from Galway to London, marking a confident evolution from their debut.
