Album Notes & Community Reviews
The debut full-length album from the Galway-based band, 'MADRA' expands upon the promise of their early EPs. The record (whose title is the Irish word for 'dog') balances shimmering dream-pop melodies with heavier, more abrasive shoegaze textures. Produced by Chris W Ryan, the album delves into themes of turmoil and self-deprecation with a potent combination of vulnerability and sonic force.
