Album Notes & Community Reviews

Formed by core members of Henry Cow and Art Bears, this avant-garde collective constructed dense, politically charged compositions blending rock instrumentation with classical woodwinds. The music provides a bleak, dissonant backdrop for Dagmar Krause's highly theatrical vocal delivery and Chris Cutler's Marxist lyrical allegories. It remains a challenging, essential artifact of the Rock in Opposition movement.
