Album Notes & Community Reviews

After departing Haircut One Hundred, the British songwriter debuted as a solo artist with an incredibly lush and heavily orchestrated pop masterpiece. 'North of a Miracle' features pristine, sophisticated brass and string arrangements that elevate his bittersweet, highly melodic brand of jangle-pop. The critically acclaimed album was a massive commercial success in the UK, establishing him as a premier talent in the sophisti-pop movement.
