Album Notes & Community Reviews

Recorded primarily in New York with a lineup of formidable session musicians including Jan Hammer and John Abercrombie, 'Mourner's Rhapsody' was an ambitious attempt by the Polish visionary to break into western markets. The album melds his soaring, theatrical vocal delivery with dense jazz fusion and progressive rock arrangements. It features a profound re-recording of his legendary anthem 'Bema pami臋ci 偶a艂obny-rapsod'.
