Album Notes & Community Reviews

Bursting onto the exploding American hard rock scene, this debut perfectly synthesized heavy guitar theatrics with immense, radio-friendly melodic hooks. Powered by the dual-lead guitar attack of Brad Gillis and Jeff Watson, 'Dawn Patrol' yielded the MTV staple 'Don't Tell Me You Love Me'. It laid down a definitive blueprint for the commercial pop-metal dominance of the 1980s.
