Album Notes & Community Reviews

George Evelyn fundamentally shifted his sound away from the bleep-techno of his debut, creating an incredibly chilled-out, foundational masterpiece of 1990s downtempo electronics. The intensely relaxing, heavily cannabis-influenced production relies on beautifully curated soul samples, deep reggae basslines, and remarkably smooth hip-hop breakbeats. The highly influential, lounge-ready recording established a defining, universally recognized aesthetic for the famous Warp Records label.
