Album Notes & Community Reviews
Produced by Erik Rutan, this incredibly dense release stands as one of the most sonically clear and pummeling efforts in the band's ancient Egyptian-themed catalog. The tracks feature lightning-fast sweep picking, George Kollias's inhuman blast beats, and majestic choral interludes utilizing authentic Middle Eastern instrumentation. It successfully reinvigorated the veteran technical death metal act, earning immense praise from both fans and critics.
