Album Notes & Community Reviews
Facing their first album without longtime guitarist and vocalist Dallas Toler-Wade, Karl Sanders steers the legendary death metal outfit through a brutal, triumphant rebirth. The record completely revitalizes their signature Egyptian-themed brutality, relying on impossibly fast blast beats and wildly complex, technical riffing. It proved the band remained an utterly dominant force in extreme music despite significant lineup instability.
