Album Notes & Community Reviews
Deliberately stepping back from the overly polished, hyper-complex production of their prior release, the death metal veterans return to a significantly heavier, more brutal sound. While retaining their signature lyrical focus on ancient Egyptian mythology and intricate guitar sweeps, the emphasis here is placed firmly on crushing groove and raw aggression. It was widely praised by fans as a pulverizing return to form.
