Album Notes & Community Reviews

Recorded directly to analog tape with minimal overdubs by legendary engineer Steve Albini, 'On Leaving' is a stark, painfully intimate collection of acoustic folk. Nina Nastasia's intricate fingerpicking and crystalline voice perfectly carry the album's warm, autumnal, and profoundly melancholic atmosphere.
