Album Notes & Community Reviews
Distancing himself from his earlier success as a straightforward R&B and variety singer, the French-Italian artist collaborated with the English rock group Leggs for this adventurous release. The album incorporates sweeping, progressive rock structures and hazy psychedelic pop, highlighted by the deeply melancholic, sprawling opening track 'Le Sud'. The recording effectively repositioned Ferrer as a serious, ambitious songwriter within the 1970s European rock landscape.
