Nobukazu Takemura pioneers the folktronica genre with this deeply playful, minimalistic, and highly eclectic release. Fusing glitchy IDM with acoustic instrumentation and toypop aesthetics, the instrumental album presents a warm, mysteriously quirky avant-garde sound.
