Album Notes & Community Reviews
Refining their distinct blend of Swedish melodicism and heavy metal grit, 'Grand Illusion' operates as a high-water mark for modern power metal. The album eschews excessive symphonic elements in favor of driving, energetic guitar riffs and triumphant, soaring vocal hooks. It remains a deeply celebrated, fantasy-adjacent classic within the European heavy metal circuit.
