Album Notes & Community Reviews
The expansive Michigan-based collective Nomo fully embraced vibrant, global rhythms on their sophomore release, 'New Tones'. Driven extensively by heavily syncopated Fela Kuti-inspired Afrobeat percussion and a remarkably tight, massive horn section, the instrumental album delivers an incredibly complex, highly danceable jazz-funk experience.
