Album Notes & Community Reviews
Recorded following a horrific, near-fatal assault that left frontman Domenic Palermo with severe head trauma, the Philadelphia quintet delivers a stunningly melodic sophomore album. The record leans heavily into 1990s alternative rock aesthetics, weaving incredibly bright, major-key guitar hooks through towering walls of dense shoegaze distortion. It acts as a beautifully hazy, surprisingly uplifting processing of profound personal trauma.
