Album Notes & Community Reviews

Released via Chris Walla's Trans Records, the Minneapolis trio's sophomore album masterfully balances the confessional vulnerability of emo with shimmering indie-pop aesthetics. The tracks are anchored by driving, rhythmic guitar lines that are heavily draped in melancholic synthesizer textures and Cacie Dalager's hushed, emotionally fraught vocals. It became a beloved cult classic for its poignant articulation of heartbreak and post-adolescent isolation.
