Album Notes & Community Reviews

Led by the eccentric and highly driven Jos茅 Carlos Molina, 'A golpe de l谩tigo' is a fierce, distinctly Spanish iteration of heavy progressive rock. The band heavily integrates soaring flute lines and classical motifs into thunderous, proto-metal riffing, drawing frequent, albeit aggressive, comparisons to Jethro Tull. The record remains a legendary, highly influential text in the development of Spanish heavy metal and folk-rock.
