Steven Stapleton was commissioned to broadcast these surreal sound collages from the remote Norwegian island of Lofoten. Constructing the tracks from local field recordings, sea shanties, and unpredictable industrial noise, the resulting transmissions form a deeply isolating, cinematic exploration of maritime avant-garde music.
