Shipwreck Radio Volume Two: Eight Enigmatic Episodes From Utvær

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Originally broadcast as a series of radio transmissions from a remote Norwegian lighthouse, Steven Stapleton’s conceptual project is a masterful exercise in environmental sound manipulation. The intensely cryptic album processes localized field recordings—wind, water, and static—into a dense, ominous soundscape of pure dark ambient drone.
