Album Notes & Community Reviews

Formed as a supergroup duo between vocalist Anderson .Paak and producer Knxwledge, this record is a masterclass in dusty, loop-based nostalgia. Knxwledge provides an incredibly smooth, lo-fi backdrop of chopped 1970s soul and funk samples, perfectly framing .Paak's incredibly charismatic, raspy vocals detailing hedonism and romance. It is a deeply groovy, universally acclaimed triumph of modern neo-soul.
