Album Notes & Community Reviews

Backed by the legendary Hi Rhythm Section in Memphis, the Tennessee vocalist delivered a crowning achievement of southern deep soul. Produced by Willie Mitchell, the record highlights Wright's raspy, profoundly emotive delivery as he navigates themes of heartbreak and spiritual yearning. The title tracks stand as monumental pillars of gut-wrenching, gospel-infused rhythm and blues.
