Marking the band's reunion after an eight-year hiatus, 'Frozen in Time' was hailed as a return to their classic form. The album was notably produced by Scott Burns, who helmed their most iconic early records, intentionally recapturing their signature sound. It is also the final Obituary album to feature guitarist Allen West, closing a significant chapter for the pioneering Florida death metal band.
