Album Notes & Community Reviews

Moving further away from the sheer velocity of traditional Florida death metal, the veteran act slowed their tempos significantly, leaning into punishing, sludge-like groove metal rhythms. The album is also notable for shifting John Tardy's lyrical focus away from gore towards urgent, apocalyptic socio-political themes regarding environmental destruction.
