Album Notes & Community Reviews

Marking their prominent return to Candlelight Records, Obituary's 'Xecutioner's Return' boldly derives its title directly from the death metal band's original moniker. It remains highly notable for officially introducing lead guitarist Ralph Santolla, whose extremely melodic, shredding solo style contrasts sharply with the band's trademark muddy groove.
