Album Notes & Community Reviews
Releasing their debut for Season of Mist, the Texan progressive metal outfit Oceans of Slumber pushes their dynamic sound to new, aggressive extremes on 'Where Gods Fear to Speak'. Frontwoman Cammie Beverly incorporates harsh death metal growls for the first time, contrasting sharply with her signature soaring cleans. The album balances crushing, doom-laden riffs with intricate progressive structures and gothic atmosphere, cementing their evolution as a formidable force in modern metal.
