Album Notes & Community Reviews

Led by the powerful vocals of Jennifer Hensel, Octopus delivered 'The Boat of Thoughts' as a sturdy, riff-driven example of German progressive rock. The quintet blends aggressive hard rock guitar work with melodic synthesizer embellishments, distinguishing themselves from the deeply abstract Krautrock acts of the era. The release serves as a polished, dynamic bridge between 70s symphonic ambitions and heavy melodic rock.
