Album Notes & Community Reviews

Granted unprecedented access to the extensive catalog of Rudy Ray Moore, the Californian producer constructed this entire project using samples from the iconic 'Dolemite' comedy albums and soundtracks. The production heavily features deep, funky basslines and extensive dialogue chops, providing a dusty, blaxploitation-era backdrop for a massive roster of underground guest MCs, including MF DOOM and Phife Dawg. It functions as a brilliant, highly cinematic conceptual beat-tape.
