AL-'AN ! (And Your Night Is Your Shadow - A Fairy-Tale Piece of Land to Make Our Dreams)

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Recorded heavily in Lebanon, the third album from the French avant-rock collective acts as a sweeping, politically charged sonic travelogue. The tracking pairs their signature, cinematic post-rock crescendos with immersive field recordings from the Mediterranean and acoustic performances from local Arabic folk musicians. The resulting album acts as a sprawling, border-defying meditation on cultural intersection and contemporary geopolitical conflict.
