Will Sheff constructed this highly nostalgic, autobiographical record as a tribute to his childhood in 1980s Meriden, New Hampshire. Driven by warm, heartland-rock-inspired arrangements and lush analog synthesizers, the album acts as a sprawling, sentimental reflection on youth, memory, and small-town mythology.
