Album Notes & Community Reviews

Moving further from their raucous cowpunk origins, the Texas quartet embraced lush pop sensibilities and expansive string arrangements for 'Fight Songs'. Rhett Miller's sharply drawn, often sarcastic lyricism cuts through the bittersweet alt-country melodies, detailing romantic failures and personal anxieties.
