Album Notes & Community Reviews
The debut album from the Dallas-based quartet helped ignite the thriving 1990s alt-country explosion. Rhett Miller's sharply melodic, sentimental songwriting is propelled by a frantic, punk-infused rhythm section that perfectly merges twang with raw rockabilly energy.
