Album Notes & Community Reviews

The xx bassist and vocalist steps into the spotlight with an incredibly vulnerable solo debut, co-produced by bandmate Jamie xx. The record tackles his HIV diagnosis and lifelong struggles with shame, utilizing intimate, melancholic alt-pop arrangements heavily influenced by 1980s horror movie soundtracks.
