Album Notes & Community Reviews
Serving as an outlet for the Mars Volta guitarist's improvisational impulses, 'The Apocalypse Inside of an Orange' was recorded entirely in Amsterdam. The album features extensive instrumental passages anchored by deep Latin percussion grooves, allowing saxophonist Adri谩n Terrazas-Gonz谩lez considerable room to explore free jazz dynamics.
