Album Notes & Community Reviews

Sung entirely in Spanish, this sprawling conceptual solo effort from The Mars Volta guitarist wrestles with themes of love, grief, and spiritual reincarnation following the death of a close friend. The album is incredibly dense and chaotic, featuring dizzying progressive rock instrumentation, complex time signatures, and Ximena Sari帽ana's ethereal backing vocals. It remains one of the most cohesive and emotionally charged releases in his vast, highly experimental catalog.
