Album Notes & Community Reviews

Trading the aggressive, motorik thrust of their earlier work for a slightly more subdued, acoustic-driven approach, 'Happy New Year' explores expansive psychedelic folk and droning experimental rock. The Brooklyn trio continues to emphasize intense rhythmic repetition, but deploys it within warmer, stranger analog soundscapes.
