Album Notes & Community Reviews

Transitioning rapidly away from their early hardcore punk roots, the British band embraced a significantly darker, metallic aesthetic on this blistering debut. 'Power From Hell' is characterized by its exceptionally raw, lo-fi production and a lyrical fixation on the occult, aligning them closely with the burgeoning first-wave black metal scene. The record notably coined the term 'Death Metal' as a track title, cementing its influence on the extreme underground.
