Album Notes & Community Reviews

Produced entirely by Awkward, the Los Angeles-based rapper's third studio album is a brilliant exercise in highly intellectual, deeply cynical 'art rap'. The production relies heavily on skittering, glitch-heavy beats and bizarre synthesizer loops, providing a perfect backdrop for Eagle's deadpan, hyper-articulate flow. Thematically, the project functions as a deeply introspective, often hilarious exploration of anxiety, modern technology, and the struggles of independent artistry.
