Album Notes & Community Reviews

Formed as a collaborative endeavor between prominent minimalist composer Rafael Anton Irisarri and vocalist Thomas Meluch (Beno卯t Pioulard), this debut perfectly marries their distinct aesthetics. The recording seamlessly envelops Meluch's incredibly hazy, whispered vocal melodies within Irisarri's signature walls of vast, oceanic synthesizer drones and heavily processed acoustic guitar. The resulting album is a masterclass in profoundly melancholic, exquisitely textured ambient pop.
