Album Notes & Community Reviews

The pioneering world-jazz ensemble teams up with the legendary hard-bop drummer for an unusual but highly fruitful collaboration. The session melds the quartet's pastoral, chamber-folk aesthetics with the drummer's polyrhythmic intensity, creating a dynamic tension that bridges the gap between structured composition and free improvisation.
